Premise of the Game
At first sight, craps seems a very complicated game, but in fact, it enables players to make many types of bets. The main difficulty lies in mastering the rules.
Players make bets on different fields on the board and roll two dice. Bets can win, lose, or stay depending on the dice combination.
Game Table
A crap table is a game table with a marked layout where bets are to be placed. The game is played with two dice with six dotted sides from 1 to 6. The dice are thrown across the entire board so that they hit against the opposite curb of the table. The minimum dice number is two (1 plus 1); the maximum number is twelve (6 and 6).
Rules of the Game
There are two modes of this game. Certain bets can be made in either mode; the others can be made only in one.
In the primary mode main bets are made on the 'Pass line'. 'Pass line' bets win at once if the player shoots 7 or 11, and they lose if he shoots 2, 3 or 12. The game stays in the primary mode.
If the dice roll 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10, they say that number becomes 'the point' and 'The point is set'. The pass bet stays. In order to play a pass bet, the player should throw the same 'point' or Seven. If the shooter rolls the point, the bet wins; otherwise it loses. In either case the point is 'discarded' and the game returns to its primary state.
A puck at the top of the board serves as an indicator of the mode. One side of the puck is black, the other is white. In the primary mode of the game, the puck is above the 'Don't Pass' field black side up. In this case they say that 'the point is not set'. When the point is established, the puck is placed its white side up on the number which is the point. The puck stays there as long as the point is on.
Bets
In order to make a bet, you need to choose a chip and drag it to the wanted field. If the chip is already chosen, bets can be placed by mere clicking on the fields. Every click adds one chip of the chosen value if it is possible.
A bet should be within the set range. The total of all bets should be under 300.
In order to cancel all bets after the dice have stopped, you need to press Cancel.
In order to clear a bet you should click on the field while holding Ctrl.
Pass Line Bets
A Pass Line field is on the left and bottom parts of the board and are marked 'Pass Line'. A 'Pass Line' bet can be made only when the point is off. The bet wins if the shooter rolls 7 or 11, and it loses if it is 2, 3 or 12. If the rolled number is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, then it becomes the point. The white puck shows that the point is on and is placed on the game board over the field with the number that is the point: 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10. In order to win a 'Pass Line' bet, the player should roll the point before 7. If the player rolls 7 before the point, the bet loses. A winning 'Pass Line' bet is paid at 1 to 1. After the establishment of the point, a remaining 'Pass Line' bet cannot be increased, reduced, or cleared. In order to win this bet one needs to shoot 7 or the point.
Don't Pass Line Bets
A Don’t Pass Line bet is the opposite of a 'Pass Line' bet. Fields for this bet are at the bottom left part of the board and are marked 'Don't Pass Line'. A 'Don’t Pass Line' bet can only be made when the point is off. The bet wins if the shooter rolls 3 or 12; it loses when it is 7 or 11, and returns to the player if it is 2. if the shooter rolls 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, then this number becomes the point. The white puck shows that the point is on and it is on the number that is the point. In order to win a 'Don’t Pass Line', bet the shooter should roll 7 before he rolls the point. If the point rolls up before 7, then the bet loses. The winning bet is paid at 1 to 1. In contrast to Pass Line bets, remaining Don’t Pass Line bets can be cleared or lowered, but not raised.
Come Bets
Come bets fields are in the center of the board and are marked 'Come'. You can place a Come bet in any round when the point is on. As for the rest, the rules for Come bets practically match those for Pass Line bets. The bet wins if the shooter rolls 7 or 11, and it loses if it is 2, 3 or 12. If the rolled number is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, then it becomes the point. The dealer moves the white puck to the Come point number: 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10. In order to win a Come bet, the player should roll the point before 7. If the player rolls 7 before the point, the bet loses. A winning Come bet is paid at 1 to 1. Like the 'Pass Line' bet, after the establishment of the point, the remaining come bet cannot be raised, lowered, or cleared.
Don't Come Bets
A Don’t Come bet is the opposite of a 'Come' bet. A 'Don’t Come' bet can be made in any round when the point is established. The bet wins if the shooter rolls 3 or 12; it loses when it is 7 or 11, and returns to the player if it is 2. If the shooter rolls 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, then this number becomes the 'Don’t Come' point. The dealer moves the white puck from the Don’t Come field to the end of the top left field corresponding to the 'Don’t Come' point: 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10. In order to win a 'Don’t Come' bet the shooter should roll 7 before he rolls the point. If the point rolls up before 7, then the bet loses. The winning bet pays 1 to 1. Unresolved bets can be cleared or lowered at any time, but not raised.
Odd Bets
Odd bets are 'support' bets for 'Pass Line', 'Don't Pass Line', 'Come' and 'Don't Come' bets.
Odd bets cannot exceed the primary 'Pass Line' and 'Come' bets more than twice.
Odd bets for 'Don't Pass Line' and 'Don't Come' cannot exceed the maximum winnings from maximum Odd bets as if they had been made on 'Pass Line' and 'Come'. In other words, Odd bets on 'Don’t Pass Line' and 'Don’t Come' cannot exceed the primary bets more than four times for points 4 and 10, 3 times for 5 and 9, and 2.4 times for points 6 and 8.

'Buy' bets lose if 7 rolls. The bet can be made, cleared, raised, and lowered at any time.
